The MAIER MLK-32/38 HYBRID is “MADE in GERMANY”. The MLK-32 Hybrid offers a 7-Axis Sliding Headstock with Removable Guide Bushing that combines reliability, performance and speed at a very cost competitive price. The HYBRID model has a 7.5hp main spindle and a 7.5hp independent simultaneous sub-spindle, 8 x 2.2HP Live Tools (ER16 or ER20) and has 32mm bar capacity with Guide Bushing or 38mm bar capacity without the guide bushing.  Running as a Non-Guide-Bush-Type adds cost savings with shorter bar remnants, eliminates the guide bushing and the need for centerless ground bar stock, it also allows for better work piece concentricity in shorter parts (Part Length Ratio for Removing Guide Bushing: Max. Part Length = 3 x Dia.).  This is truly the most cost effective and versatile 32/38mm Swiss Turn On The Market Today!
